Ryan and Liz picked an August day to be the day that they pledged themselves to each other in Holy Matrimony. August 5th will be a day that they remember for the rest of their lives.
We started the day at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo. Their bridal room was the perfect place for Liz to start the day surrounded by family and friends as she got ready to walk down the aisle. It was so beautiful to see so many women there to support Liz. Liz and Ryan opted not to see each other before the ceremony, so the morning was leisurely and allowed for plenty of time to get ready before the ceremony.
One thing that they did that I loved was even though they didn’t want to see each other, they still wanted to pray together before the ceremony. We made this happen by using one of the pillars in the church and allowing them to hold hands around the corner. This is always a special moment for couples so I took a couple pictures and then left the church to allow them to have a few moments together.
They had a full wedding mass that truly reflected their love for God. Sts. Anne and Joachim is such a beautiful church, and it was such a joy to see it filled with people who love and support Liz and Ryan in their married life together.
Throughout the day it was raining on and off, but after the ceremony we were able to sneak outside to get some nice pictures before the rain really hit later that evening. After we were done with the pictures, we headed over the the Sanctuary Events Center to finish off the evening with a party celebrating their new life starting together.
